Analysis of the content of the fifth grade Persian book

Abstract
The current research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the content of the fifth grade Persian book (published in 2019) based on Edward Fry's method of determining the reading level. This research aimed to find out how much the mentioned book complies with the readability formula in terms of compliance with the principles of content planning. The research method was descriptive content analysis using Edward Fry's method of determining the level of readability. The statistical population included the Persian book of the fifth grade of elementary school published in 2019 and the statistical sample included three samples of one hundred words from the beginning, middle and end of the prose texts of this book. The main results of this research show that the text of the fifth grade Persian book is suitable for the university age in terms of reading level, and it is very difficult for the fifth grade students. For this reason, it is not proportional to the students' reading ability
