Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of identifying and ranking the factors affecting the teaching of basic multiplication in the third grade of students in Yazd province. This study is applied in terms of its purpose and is descriptive-survey in terms of data collection for modeling. The statistical population of the study was all experts and scholars of mathematics education in Yazd province. . The research sampling method is purposive. In this process, 10 experts were selected as a statistical sample. . The collection tool was a checklist of challenges that was obtained through literature extraction and its validity based on the experts' perspective was 0.89. The results showed that games in multiplication teaching were given first priority in the sixth grade, modern teaching methods in the fifth grade were given second priority, teaching application and integrated curriculum in the fourth grade were given third priority, intervention packages in the third grade were given fourth priority, central reasoning and attention to culture and native language in the second grade were given fifth priority, and electronic multiplication teaching in the first grade was given sixth priority.
