Curriculum policy in order to improve media literacy

Abstract
The aim of this study was to develop a curriculum policy to improve media literacy. The method of this study was qualitative synthesis research. The required data was collected by searching library resources, dissertations, and articles in databases. Keywords for curriculum, policy, and media literacy were used separately and in combination to search internal and external databases. Among the domestic researches conducted between 2012 and 2020 and foreign researches between 2012 and 2020, 250 published research cases were identified and among them, at least, 20 research cases were selected for review and analysis. The results showed that the common components in all articles in relation to the curriculum policy in order to improve media literacy in the educational system include the components of professional competence of educators, information technology, support, which in most articles It is mentioned
