Abstract
Hermeneutics as one of the methods of qualitative research and interpretation of texts, or the science of interpretation, is a method that seeks to discover the codes and meaning hidden in texts, the texts and explanation of the meaning of these discourses. The purpose of this method is to represent and re-experience the creative process of the author's intention, through regularizing interpretative methods and techniques; Avoiding misunderstandings and misunderstandings; And achieving a degree of understanding that is more correct than others and closer to the desire of the creator of the work, which has a lot of use in humanities research, especially behavioral sciences. In this article, using the meta-analysis approach, which is a type of research about published research, and by combining published articles, first the terminology of hermeneutic research, and then the philosophical foundations, history of its origin, its definitions are stated, and then it is compared with other methods, aspects The distinction and criticisms have been addressed
